Join us for a special U of M Raptor Center Event sponsored by Tamron. A raptor handler from the U of M will present four different raptors individually during which you’ll learn about what makes these birds raptors, and what makes them stand out within that group. Be awe inspired by an up-close experience and have a rare opportunity to photograph these striking birds of prey closer than you would ever get in the wild. Along with expert staff from National Camera, Tamron Rep Mike Pazandak will provide tips and tricks for using long lenses to photograph these Birds of Prey in this environment. Tamron lenses will also be available to try out during this event on a first come first served basis.
Registration for this workshop is limited to 25 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
This in-person presentation is part of our Education Celebration Week, featuring a variety of learning opportunities that will help you polish your photo skills throughout the week of August 1st–8th. Join us virtually for webinars with the experts during the first part of the week, and stop by our Golden Valley location over the weekend for fun educational experiences including in-person classes, vendor demos, giveaways, and savings on select products. The Raptor Center will help us wrap up the celebration on Monday, August 8th, with an exclusive raptor photography workshop!
