The Minnesota Zoo is home to a variety of amazing exotic birds, but it is also where you can find many local and migratory birds. Minnesota Zoo’s Volunteer Services Supervisor, Brogan Alley, will lead the group along the Treetop Trail, which amazing opportunities to view and photograph birds at their level and brings us deeper into the woods, where birds like to hide. Along with Brogan, OM SYSTEM Ambassador Steve Ball and ABA’s Katinka Domen will offer their perspective and expertise along the way.

Thanks to the generous support of OM SYSTEM, there will be loaner gear available for the walk. If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at bird photography, experiment with different cameras and lenses, or are in the market for an upgrade of your existing gear, this is your chance to try it out in person!
Please note: A valid photo ID is required to check out loaner gear. Loaner gear is available on a first come first serve basis. Participants who plan to borrow gear should bring a blank SD card in order to take their images home with them.
