Exploring Themes in Nature: Increasing Your Enjoyment of Wildlife and Nature Photography

Learn how to expand your enjoyment of nature photography by learning many different “themes” you can discover and photograph in addition to traditional portrait-style wildlife photos. Every photography outing becomes a “treasure hunt” for special themes that portray lessons in nature: camouflage, iridescence, reflections, symbiosis, migration, masses of wildlife, adaptations for flight, parental care, predation, patterns, hearts, nesting, anatomical closeups of skin, plumage, eyes, and bills, and wildlife-themed photos to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and even the 4th of July! Learn how many different ways you can photograph a lion and adapt those ideas to wildlife “back home”.
