Join Pro Photographer Cheryl Belczak and industry expert Stephen Neff with Laowa Lenses, for an exploration of Macro Photography and the Art of Photographing Flowers.
This is a two-part online workshop designed to teach techniques and creative strategies for capturing stunning images of flowers. The workshop is divided into two online seminars, each covering specific areas to expand your knowledge and skill level using a fine art approach.
Part One: Capturing Images // Tuesday, May 2nd
In the first seminar, we will explore everything from subject selection to composition, lighting, form, shape and color to create unique and compelling images. We will also discuss the technical aspects of flower photography related to camera settings, lens choice and various accessories to get the best results.
Part Two: Editing Images // Thursday, May 4th
In the second seminar, Cheryl will demonstrate how to take your floral images to the next level in Photoshop. We will explore various editing methods to show you how to enhance the color, tones and textures of a flower photograph rendering it into a fine art image. We will simplify the thought process around when, why and how you might want to try these techniques to create a meaningful vision for your own fine art floral images.
Flowers capture our attention, engage our memories and evoke our imagination in a quiet, peaceful way. Their beauty in diversity is unique and ever-changing throughout their fleeting lives. Join us to explore a variety of approaches that help bring the magic, memories and emotion of flowers to our images.
