Join Mike Pazandak of Tamron and John Stoilov of Canon for a sunset photo meet-up at East Medicine Lake Park on Wednesday, August 2nd at 7:45pm. This is a free event aimed at photographers of any experience level with interchangeable lens cameras.
Unlock the secrets of capturing stunning sunset images and elevate your photography skills with professional guidance. During this event, our team of seasoned photographers will help you with composition, exposure, white balance and other camera settings to make the most of the colors. Learn how to create dynamic silhouettes against the vibrant hues of the setting sun and master the art of capturing the perfect balance between foreground elements and the awe-inspiring sky.
When you arrive, we will gather as a group near the picnic shelter to check-in, followed by a brief introduction. A select amount of loaner lenses will be provided by Tamron at this time—if you intend to borrow gear during this event, please be sure to arrive early as lenses are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: You must have a valid driver’s license to check out Tamron loaner lenses. After our initial meetup, you’ll be free to explore the area on your own or stick around the experts for more guided, personalized advice. Whatever you need, we’re here to help!

BE PREPARED!
Pack your interchangeable lens camera, lenses, and charge up your batteries before the event! We also recommend bringing additional batteries and memory cards just in case.As this event will be held outdoors rain or shine, we recommend that you dress comfortably and accordingly for the weather. To make your experience more enjoyable, we also recommend that you consider bringing some bug spray along, as it is likely that we will encounter mosquitoes and other insects along the way!
