From the perspective of Tamron’s Erica Robinson, travel photography is a broad genre covering so many bases. It’s an incorporation of landscape, environmental portrait, wildlife, street photography, and storytelling, all rolled into one. Because travel photographers are naturally wandering souls, we strive to document the world around us in its purest form. And, we love to share stories!
During this travel and storytelling webinar, we will discuss how to build a photograph with our composition while being sure we know our camera’s settings. It’s also important to understand our location and how to show stories within our travel photographs. It’s time to think outside the box and get creative!

Erica Robinson has always had a strong interest in both photography and travel, but once she merged the two together, she found her true passion. After studying photography in college, her first adventure was working as a photographer for a cruise line out on the ships. Trying to pursue a different genre, she then worked with talented Boston wedding photographers, while also learning the technical side by working for a local camera store. Erica strongly believes that photography is an incredible tool that allows us to stop a moment and relive it every time we look back at that image. She genuinely enjoys teaching others how to capture that moment, so they too can relive it over and over again.
