TAMRON VIDEO MASTERCLASS
Join us for a two-day video production experience! Under the guidance of Director/Cinematographer Charley Voorhis, you’ll work within a team to plan, shoot, and edit a promotional video for The Bond Between, a local animal shelter dedicated to nurturing the bond between people and animals. Participants will have the opportunity to use Tamron lenses, bringing the story to life through high-quality visuals while learning key techniques in video production.

DAY ONE // CREATIVE PLANNING SESSION
Friday, November 8th • 4:30-6:00pm
Get ready for the shoot with a comprehensive pre-production session on Friday! During this creative planning session, Charley will share insider tips on how to develop a vision, plan your shots, and select the right gear. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow creatives as you map out the strategy for a successful video project!

DAY TWO // ON-SITE FILMING & VIDEO EDITING
Saturday, November 9th • 9:00am-3:30pm
Join us on location at The Bond Between for a hands-on filming session, where you’ll work with Charley, try out the latest Tamron lenses, and work with your team to capture footage on-site while getting a firsthand look at how video production unfolds behind the camera. Afterward, head over to National Camera Exchange in Golden Valley, where lunch will be provided before we dive into the editing portion of the workshop. In the afternoon, we’ll focus on editing and post-production, teaching you professional techniques to create a cohesive final project. You’ll have the opportunity to receive expert feedback, ask questions, and collaborate with peers.

Classroom: The Creative Planning Session & Video Editing portions of the workshop will be held in our classroom on the second floor of the building, which is accessible by stair or elevator. Please arrive a few minutes early, so we can begin the class on time. National Camera is located at 9300 Olson Memorial Hwy in Golden Valley, MN
On-Site Location: The Filming portion of the workshop will be held on-site at The Bond Between, located at 5959 Baker Rd #390 in Minnetonka, MN

Charley Voorhis is a Director and Cinematographer based in Washington state, specializing in adventure filmmaking and community branding. Charley started Voortex Productions in July of 2004.
