Join us for a captivating U of M Raptor Center Event at National Camera Exchange sponsored by Tamron. Immerse yourself in the world of raptors as a skilled handler from the U of M showcases four distinct species during this live workshop. Discover what defines these majestic birds as raptors and uncover the unique characteristics that set them apart within their group. Prepare to be amazed by an up-close encounter, granting you an extraordinary opportunity to observe and photograph these magnificent birds of prey like never before, surpassing what you would typically experience in the wild.
National Camera’s expert staff will be present, alongside Tamron Representative Mike Pazandak, to provide invaluable insights, tips, and tricks for capturing images of these Birds of Prey within this controlled environment. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a beginner, learn how to make the most of your long lenses and master the art of photographing these captivating subjects. Tamron lenses will be available to try out during the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: You must have a valid driver’s license to check out Tamron loaner lenses.

As this event will be held outdoors rain or shine, we recommend that you dress comfortably and accordingly for the weather. Pack your interchangeable lens camera, lenses, and charge up your batteries before the event! We also recommend bringing additional batteries and memory cards just in case.

Join us virtually for webinars with the experts during the first part of the week, and stop by our Golden Valley location over the weekend for fun educational experiences including in-person classes, vendor demos, giveaways, and savings on select products.
